This year is particularly significant for the Arkema Fund for Education, Inclusion, and Diversity. In addition to once again rewarding projects led by Group employees, we are celebrating a symbolic anniversary: the Fund's 10th anniversary!

Ten years of commitment and impact

Created to support initiatives promoting equal opportunities, access to education, and inclusion in all its forms, the Arkema Fund has, over time, become a real driver of social commitment within the Group.

In a decade, it has:

  • supported more than 100 projects in 18 countries where the Group operates,
  • contributed more than €1 million in donations,
  • enabled the emergence of concrete initiatives that sustainably improve the daily lives of thousands of beneficiaries.

These results are the fruit of the involvement and creativity of employees who, each year, carry out solidarity projects rooted in the regions where we operate.

The 2025 winners

The 2025 edition of the Fund was no exception to the rule: once again, the Group's employees rallied together to propose inspiring initiatives.

After reviewing the applications and deliberating, we are proud to announce this year's winning projects:

Project 1 – David Esposito – France: Eysines Handball Club

Sharing a passion for handball with students at a medical-educational institute by offering a specially adapted activity and integrating young handball players who use wheelchairs to play alongside their hemiplegic teammates.

Project 2 – Jolena Ang – Singapore: FootballPlus Limited

Launch of the "STAY in the game" program, a six-week cycle in ten schools for 200 students (aged 10 to 12), combining soccer training and educational activities to promote mental well-being and early detection of mental disorders.

Project 3 – Mélanie Jourdain – France: Prométhée Education

Organization of public speaking competitions entitled "La Parole est à nous!" (The floor is ours!) in middle schools, high schools, and sports settings (football club training centers).

Project 4 – Christopher Griffin – USA: George Washington Carver Community Center

Funding a program for disadvantaged, low-income, and at-risk youth to introduce them to various activities such as exploring different careers through hands-on experiences and recreational activities.

Project 5 – Joanna Weicher – Poland: Sant Egidio Poznan

Project to support children from vulnerable Romanian families facing poverty, nomadism, and illiteracy. Offer weekly educational, integration, and recreational activities (tutoring, games, camps, workshops) to provide a stable environment, promote schooling, and develop children's talents.

Project 6 – Serhan Oztemiz – USA: Southeastern Hockey Association of Wisconsin

Hockey program adapted for people with special needs (ADHD, autism, Down syndrome). It promotes inclusion and personal development by building self-confidence and social skills. It welcomes athletes with disabilities of all ages for a fun and accessible sporting activity.

These initiatives demonstrate our teams' ability to identify local needs, get involved, and take concrete action to promote a more inclusive society.

Thank you to all of our employees who submitted projects.
