As the 9th Annual Guangzhou International Investment Conference Nansha session kicks off, Arkema's subsidiary Sartomer, a global leader in special light-curing resins, stood out among the top 500 companies for its outstanding contribution, becoming one of the 44 companies winning the honor " Star of Voyage ".

As an annual highlight, Nansha's special event with the theme of "Stirring journey, starry sea" attracted more than 500 industry experts, representatives of business associations, and industry leaders from around the world to discuss development plans. Outstanding manufacturing enterprises, including Sartomer, received awards for their extraordinary contributions to Nansha's industry and for boosting the confidence of other enterprises.

"China has been an important driving force for the growth of Sartomer. Since its founding in 2005, Sartomer has responded actively to the Group's localization strategy, and improved its local R&D and production capacity in multiple dimensions." James Liu Bin, Regional Group President of Coating Additive Asia Pacific, commented, "Nansha's unique geographical advantages, constantly optimized ad hoc policies, open and inclusive business environment have attracted us to put down roots here, develop innovative materials and sustainable technologies for high-quality local development."

Sartomer Nansha is the company's first manufacturing site in Asia. It has now become one of the Group's key pillars in UV/EB UV curing and advanced materials. Its advanced liquid resin solutions and additives offer superior performance and sustainability for a wide range of applications in composites, 3D printing, adhesives, coatings, electronics, and more. The Nansha plant is also trusted and appreciated by customers for its high-quality technical support, personalized customization services, and quick responses in local logistics.

To further its localization strategy and to empower Asian customers with the best regional supply, Sartomer is expanding its investment in Nansha by doubling the UV light-curing resin capacity at the Nansha plant, which is expected to start operating later this year. The expansion will help to meet the rapidly growing demand in Asia for cutting-edge solutions in electronics and renewable energy, driven by 5G technology. Nansha plant will achieve carbon-neutral growth through energy efficiency programs, green power procurement, and solar panels, in addition to applying the latest processes and manufacturing standards.

Sartomer will continue to work hand in hand with Nansha District to develop and innovate, and use cutting-edge innovative materials and sustainable expertise to help Nansha become a "manufacturing powerhouse".
