Luperox® organic peroxide for wire and cable

Arkema offers a large range of organic peroxide under the trade names Luperox®, Retic®, Vul-Cup® or Di-Cup® used as a cross-linking agent in semiconductor-layers of medium to high voltage cables. Organic peroxides can also be used as cross-linking agent for Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) and Ethylene Propylene diene monomer (EPDM) to improve mechanical performance, chemical resistance and electrical properties. CPE and EPDM are used in low voltage cable jacket layers, especially for home appliances that require very low odor level.

Luperox®organic peroxides for PP visbreaking

The addition of organic peroxides to the molten polypropylene during extrusion is called vis-breaking or controlled rheology of polypropylene (CRPP).
Main organic peroxides developped by Arkema under the trade name Luperox® to be used are: di-tert-butyl peroxide, di-amyl-butyl peroxide and 2,5-dimethyl-2,5di(tert-butylperoxyl)-hexane.

Luperox® pharmaceutical grade benzoyl peroxide is available for shipment anywhere worldwide.  A drug master file (DMF) is continuously maintained with the United States Food and Drug Administration, and the product complies with USP and PhEur monograph specifications.  Luperox® pharmaceutical benzoyl peroxide is a fine free-flowing, water-wet powder with a very tightly controlled particle size dispersion. 

Luperox® diacyl peroxides
